thinQ is recruiting Business Development Manager’s (BDM’s) to market the company’s cloud based voice solutions to enterprise customers. BDM’s will execute business activities for customer acquisition and new product sales. This will be accomplished by contacting customers via phone, technology shows and on-site visits. BDM will profile customers to assess their fit and need for our software and demonstrate the value proposition of our solutions.

Job Duties:

  • Profile customers and opportunities that are created from internal/external lead sources
  • Research, identify and foster new leads in targeted vertical markets
  • Acquire new customers through outbound calls, email marketing, webinars and in-person attendance of telephony conferences
  • Penetrate existing customers by selling new products and increasing overall share of wallet
  • Learn ThinQ’s voice delivery products and what makes us different in order to use a consultative sales approach
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, annual sales and growth objectives
  • Accurately maintain a monthly pipeline of all opportunities
  • Collaborate with management team to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Some travel may be required

EDUCATION and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree required.
5-7 years of technology sales experience , preferably telecom and/or services related.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

A university degree in marketing, business or information system studies is preferred. Direct business-to-business sales experience in technology sales preferably with emphasis in telephony products or services to enterprise customers. Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Proven ability to understand and communicate customer needs. Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiarity with Salesforce.com is beneficial.

Must be able to work cooperatively as a team member, with regular interface among various levels of staff and management required.
