thinQ is excited to announce that we’ve acquired teli, a Denver-based provider of text messaging, voice, and fax services with hundreds of partners across North America. We first started working with teli in 2017 to power our SMS/MMS solutions. Adding their capabilities to our stable of cloud communications solutions gives our customers more robust text messaging features (shortcodes, hosted SMS, Canadian delivery) plus programmable voice features via APIs that rival Twilio, Plivo, and others.

You can continue to rely on the thinQ and teli teams to provide the same high level of service with no immediate changes.

You’re invited to join us for a series of 30-minute webinars to learn more about our voice/messaging solutions, APIs, plus how we’re supporting STIR/SHAKEN to sign calls and combat illegal robocalls.

Are your calls at risk of being blocked? Illegal robocalls are now the top complaint made to the FCC for the last four years running. STIR/SHAKEN is a set of telecom standards implemented by the FCC as a solution to combat spam calls before they can be made.

After years of work, voice providers like thinQ and teli are doing their part to combat illegal robocalls with STIR/SHAKEN support, rolling out ahead of the FCC’s June 30th deadline.

Join us for this 30-minute session to learn how, as a voice customer using our phone numbers, your calls are automatically signed with full attestation. This dramatically lowers any chance that your business-critical calls will be blocked by a terminating carrier under the new rules.

Michael Tindall, Co-Founder and Chief Architect, will share details about how consolidating your outbound calling and phone numbers with thinQ and teli will simplify your compliance with STIR/SHAKEN.

Have a specific SMS question? Send it to tim@thinq.com and we’ll address it during the session.

“Bringing teli into our family of cloud communication solutions gives us an exciting opportunity. We can now offer our customers better text messaging features plus more than 200 programmable voice features, said Aaron Leon, thinQ CEO. “Combined with Commio’s [a February 2021 acquisition] redundant inbound capabilities and STIR/SHAKEN compliance tools, plus our intelligent voice solutions and toll-free least cost routing, we deliver an even better way to communicate in 2021 and beyond.”

Brian Ford, General Manager of Enterprise Messaging at teli, agrees that the acquisition presents a great opportunity for both thinQ and teli customers. “We’re also excited to offer our customers the incredible domestic, toll-free, and international voice solutions thinQ has. Our messaging and programmable voice features will be the perfect addition to thinQ’s cloud communications APIs and platform.”
